Internship Detail

Description: Intern will be responsible for providing administrative support to partner and team. Responsibilities consist of both administrative and project work. Special projects include assisting publicists on book campaigns with New York Times bestselling, award-winning, movie tie-in, and new authors, researching and pitching media, writing press materials, updating reports, book mailings, and database maintenance.
Length of Internship: Start/end dates for summer internship: Mid-May through late August. Start/end dates for semester internship: Jan-April or Sept-Dec.
Requirements: Interest in learning about book publishing from an industry insider. Strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to multi-task a must. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and various social media is preferred. Naturally, a strong love of books is mandatory. 20 hours per week commitment working in home office in Middletown NJ.
Location: Middletown NJ

Payment: Offering monthly stipend, course credit, employer evaluation, all expenses paid for transportation into New York City for author signings, book parties, and networking events. Also professional resume review and mock interviews conducted at the completion of the internship.
