Description: Overcup Press is an independent book publisher based in Portland, Oregon. We are committed to making books that will thrive in the 21st Century. We specialize in producing unique contemporary art, travel, music and food/drink that have a strong design element.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Work with internal and external partners, including PR and design companies

• Work with marketing team on social media marketing efforts

• Oversee blog and web content maintenance and development

• Research and analyze competitors, specialty markets and other sectors as requested

• Email, direct mail and online ad campaign creation and delivery

• Assist with special events

Overcup is a small, focused team so this is a fantastic opportunity for students looking to enter the publishing industry to get real world experience!

Length of Internship: 3-6 months
Requirements: Strong communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of social media platforms
Ability to meet deadlines
Possess the skills to be a proactive thinker
Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs
Professional Phone and Email Etiquette

Applicants seeking a remote internship: You will need to have some availability during U.S. Pacific Time Zone business hours, access to a quiet location, a recent-model computer and high speed internet, and phone.
Location: Portland, Oregon or remote.
