Description: Online social networking interns are in charge of updating content about the magazine on numerous social networking sites and bookmarking articles by Tikkun's authors and editors using Delicious. Online outreach interns learn how to analyze web analytics data, actively monitor blogs about politics and spirituality and help Tikkun expand its reach in cyberspace.
Length of Internship: three months to one year
Requirements: Candidates for this position must be familiar with Tikkun magazine and interested in its coverage of politics and spirituality. They must have excellent communication and writing skills, a sense of professionalism, and a love for talking about big ideas with other people. Candidates for this position must also be hooked into the blogosphere and comfortable using Web applications.

Location: Berkeley, CA
Application Due Date: April 1 for summer internships
August 15 for fall internships
December 15 for spring internships
Payment: unpaid
