Description: Who We Are: A boutique creative agency representing award-winning children’s book authors and illustrators. Founded 12 years ago in London, Bright has become synonymous with stunning artwork and one-of-a-kind talent. We work alongside influential editors and art directors at the biggest publishing houses around the world to create gorgeous children’s picture books. Our NYC office is run by a small, spirited staff of agents. We are presenting the right candidate with an opportunity to gain unparalleled exposure to the publishing industry and form lasting relationships with Bright staff both in the US and UK.

You Are: A pre- or post-grad with a can-do attitude, an eye for art and design, and an interest in the book publishing industry. You are obsessed with social media, have a keen awareness of trending topics, and are ready with ideas for how we can become a part of the conversation. Familiarity with Photoshop and other design programs is a plus. The position will be based in our midtown office 2-3 days/week and include a commuter stipend.

Internship Responsibilities Include:

-Planning, building and writing blog posts
-Assisting with social media
-Processing artwork
-Posting and filing contracts
-Supporting our fantastic agents with portfolio development and outreach to all US publishers
-And more!
