[Back to Internships]

Description: Red Sofa Literary is happy to announce we are once again looking for a summer intern! Our intern will be helping with all aspects of agenting, including helping with social media and author promotions, industry research to create editorial lists for outgoing projects, interaction with our authors for spotlight posts on our blogs, and pretty much anything else that comes up during those three months. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the publishing world to see the agency side of the table

This position will be remote, with weekly meetings online.

Length of Internship: Three months - Summer 2020
Requirements: The Details: We’re asking for 5-10 hours a week for the months for June through August and participation on our monthly agency calls. While the internship is not paid, it is 100% remote and flexible around your schedule.

Ideal Intern: We want someone who is self-motivated, can work well on their own but knows when to ask questions. Interest in writing and publishing is a must, but we also want someone who is specifically interested in learning about working for a literary agency, not just someone who wants to be an editor!
