Company Name: NHOUSE PUBLISHING, LLC
Description: Looking for energetic, reliable, independent, and very creative individual to assist with creating electronic newsletters, updating website content and social media networking. Knowledge of HTML and/or web editing tools and designing electronic newsletters and graphic design would be a plus, but not required. The assistant may be allowed to work from home. All assignments will be delivered with detailed instructions with examples.

Internet Marketing Intern must be:
- Detail oriented
- Strong multi-tasking and writing skills
- Interest in growing experience in the media industries
- Independent research skills a must
- On-line savvy including social media and networking, blogging, tumblr, twitter, etc.
- Willing to work flexible hours off-site with little supervision
Length of Internship: Length of a semester - 3 to 4 months
Requirements: Responsibilities may include:
• Gather book reviews posted on sites such as amazon.com;
• Assist in the promotional effort through on-line and traditional media campaigns;
• Assist with listing company on all Website Directories that feature a list of publishers links to all online publisher directories, such as http://www.blackrefer.com/booksellers.html;
• Compare pricing on pre-defined list of self-publishers sites as needed;
• Assist in the design and writing of press releases for books and author events and publish them to the author’s blog and distribute to appropriate mailing list;
• Post contests on company’s website and authors’ blogs;
• Assist in the creation of and manage online marketing campaigns targeting readers, libraries and bookstores;
• Compile and mail press kits to media contacts;
• Actively contribute engaging content to Facebook and Twitter feeds for both the company and our authors;
• Research popular blogs, websites and writers for specific book projects;
• Assist with e-book marketing research and application, as this area of publishing is quickly growing;
• Assist with social media outreach, including creating Facebook landing images and milestone images like https://www.facebook.com/twentyfirststreet.urbanediting;
• Assist with digital marketing initiatives (such as iPhone apps);
• Assist with library and academic marketing;
Location: Newark, New Jersey
Payment: This is a nonpaid intern.
