| Requirements: | Responsibilities
• Design content for social media and e-newsletters to promote the Starry Forest list. • Edit book design files. • Create and edit photo and video content from live events. • Plan, organize, and update the content calendar for social media. • Engage with users across platforms. • Assist with updates to company websites. • Collaborate with Starry Forest team on marketing initiatives. • Organize files according to publisher standards. Hours & Location • Part-time • Fairfield County, CT or Remote • Periodic phone calls with creative team and publishing partners About Starry Forest Books: Starry Forest creates beautiful children's books that are enjoyed worldwide. Visit us online at: www.starryforestbooks.com Qualifications • Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube) • Ability to think creatively and tailor an engaging message • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (such as InDesign or Photoshop) • Web design capabilities a plus (such as Wix) • Familiarity with platforms such as Dropbox, Excel, or Slack a plus • Passion for children’s books • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Positive, flexible attitude |
