Description: Quayside Publishing Group is looking for motivated multi-taskers who work well independently as well as on a team. We're looking for creative thinkers who can work collaboratively to further the company’s marketing, social media, and public relation goals. Great ideas always welcome!

Daily functions for this role include:

Writing press releases
Setting up press kits
Maintaining our press database
Shipping books to reviewers
Writing marketing copy for various audiences
Writing blog posts
Running our in-house social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, instagram, and more)
Attending marketing meetings
Attending author conference calls
Helping develop best practices for our marketing department

Length of Internship: 6 Months
Requirements: - Must be able to work at least three full days from 8:30am - 5:00pm weekly for the duration of the internship.

- Practical experience and knowledge with various social media, a flare for creative writing and an enthusiasm for books.

- Good research skills, resourcefulness and self-motivated work ethic a must.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, internet savvy and proficiency using MS Office software are required.

- Design skills and experience with Adobe Suite is a plus.
Location: Beverly, MA
