Description: Peter Rubie, CEO of FinePrint Literary Management, is seeking an intern who will work personally with him. Duties include reading slush, evaluating requested submissions, writing readers reports, and general agency/office tasks. Ideal candidate is a recent college gradute, or in their last year of studies, willing to put in 16-24 hours/week. Great opportunity to experience and learn many aspects of publishing.
Length of Internship: 3-4 Months
Requirements: At least 2 years of college completed, and an avid interest in the publishing industry. Applicants need to be READY TO READ. Seeking someone who reads commercial and currently published fiction and nonfiction. Interest in social media a plus!
Location: Upper West Side, NYC
