Imprints: Depending on the intended audience, books are published under one of the following imprints:

ACHE Management series
The ACHE Management Series is the imprint for books directed primarily to healthcare executives. Management Series books focus on timely topics and present practical strategies for maximizing job effectiveness.

Executive Essentials series
Executive Essentials books provide everything you should know about a topic in a practical, quick-read format. If you want to dig deeper, we've already done the legwork for you. Each Executive Essentials book provides a list of additional resources.

AUPHA/HAP series
The Association of University Programs in Health Administration/Health Administration Press (AUPHA/HAP) imprint is for textbooks used in undergraduate and graduate courses in health services administration and management. Acceptance of manuscripts for publication under the AUPHA/HAP imprint is guided by a national editorial board, with members selected in cooperation with AUPHA.

The Gateway to Healthcare Management series
The Gateway to Healthcare Management series contains textbooks specifically for students new to healthcare management. These textbooks provide the fundamental knowledge and skills that will prepare students to manage effectively at the departmental level and beyond.

Description: Health Administration Press is a division of the Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Founded in 1972 with support from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, Health Administration Press has grown from a small office on the campus of the University of Michigan to one of the largest publishers of books and journals on all aspects of health services management, including textbooks for use in undergraduate and graduate courses. Now located in downtown Chicago, the Press also publishes two journals, the Journal of Healthcare Management and Frontiers of Health Services Management, and produces courses for the ACHE Self-Study Program.
