Title: Customer Service Professional - Publishing
Description: We have an excellent opportunity in our Fulfillment Department if you are looking to start a career in publishing. Previous hires have been promoted within the company to positions in our Marketing, Sales, Rights, and Editorial departments.

We seek a productive and organized customer service professional who enjoys interacting with customers and authors by phone, email, and in person. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, learning their policies and requirements, and processing their orders and credit memos. You will liaise with authors to get their books to speaking engagements and conferences. The publishing industry is changing, and you will be called upon to take on special projects in order to find solutions to new problems.

We offer a collaborative environment, while seeking staff who can work independently. We have a relaxed atmosphere and maintain high expectations.

This is a full-time position with competitive salary and excellent benefits, which can be either fully remote or a hybrid of remote and in-office.

Requirements: You should have customer service or related work experience with strong data entry, problem solving, and communication skills. You should be willing to learn new skills, but already have a facility with Excel and strong general computer skills. Occasional travel to conferences is required.
