Title: Senior Digital Marketing Manager
Description: Workman Publishing Co., Inc., is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and talented Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join the Marketing department in a role that will work across all corporate and distributed imprints. Acting as a leader of direct-to-consumer marketing strategy, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will develop and execute a variety of dynamic and measurable digital marketing campaigns.

In this overarching digital marketing role, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will drive email marketing efforts as well as lead social media advertising and audience and community development for workman.com and pageaday.com.

This position reports to the Associate Director of Digital Marketing for the Workman imprint, in close collaboration with the Executive Director of Digital Operations. 

Principal duties and responsibilities: 
• Own direct-to-consumer email marketing: soup-to-nuts copywriting, design, building, strategy execution, idea contribution for content calendars, and reporting for direct-to-consumer lists for workman.com and pageaday.com.
• Implement Digital Operations Department’s strategic business direction for all marketing efforts for pageaday.com, including email, social media, and digital advertising. 
• Responsible for the digital marketing strategy and execution of corporate direct-to-consumer holiday campaign initiatives.
• Work with and help lead the direct-to-consumer business team, a group of stakeholders composed of marketing, operations, and sales.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all marketing and digital marketing teams across imprints, publishers, and distribution clients to create promotions for backlist titles. 
• Collaborate with the Digital Operations and Workman Marketing teams to create regular reporting to distill learnings, drive CRO optimization, and advance programmatic priorities.

Please apply if you meet the following qualifications: 
• 4+ years of digital marketing experience
• Experience with MailChimp, particularly remarketing, as well as content creation and execution 
• Ability to excel within a fast-paced environment
• In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics—tracking progress of promotions, doing analysis of initiatives, funnel creation (Google Tag Manager experience a plus)
• Experience with Shopify+ or similar off-the-shelf eCommerce tool
• Experience using design programs such as Canva or Photoshop to design creative assets 
• A critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
• A great communicator who can deftly work with many different leaders and divisions 
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple interdependencies and diverse stakeholders
• Strong demonstrated analytical skills verbal and written communication skills 
• Proven ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
• The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively while also maintaining accuracy 
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Experience with ad management in any of these platforms is a big plus: Instagram/Facebook, Bing, and Google
• Ability to take high-quality photos and videos also a big plus
• A good sense of good humor and an excitement for participating in and contributing to a fun, vibrant work environment with great company culture

Location: New York, New York. The position is remote until our office in Manhattan reopens although interested candidates must reside in either NY, NJ, or CT.
