Title:	Production Editor
Description:	The Production Editor will manage print and digital titles, including mass markets and ebook originals, through the production process from manuscript through bound book or ebook release, working closely with production, managing editorial, editorial, design, and digital to ensure titles are produced accurately and on schedule. Duties include: hiring freelance copyeditors, proofreaders, indexers and evaluating their work; managing schedules of each title in our in-house tracking system; copyediting and proofreading cover copy and other ancillary material for each title; coding and deflagging manuscripts and preparing for design and typesetting.
Requirements:	Three to five years’ experience in trade book production editorial; must be MAC literate; fully skilled in use of Word with Track Changes for copyediting, coding, and deflagging manuscripts; skilled in copyediting on paper and proofreading; familiar with Chicago Manual of Style.
