Title: Sales Account Manager
Description: Workman is seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented candidate to serve as Sales Account Manager for our Amazon print business for all imprints and distribution clients. The ideal candidate will be a nimble and creative thinker with a fine attention to detail and the ability to solve problems quickly. Experience selling to Amazon will be prioritized, but not strictly required.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Sell in frontlist titles, projecting quantities and soliciting purchase orders
• Manage inventory levels for frontlist and backlist titles, working with the inventory manager and production departments to ensure we have enough inventory
• Provide regular sales reporting, including the processing and reporting of all co-op-related fees
• Secure seasonal merchandising opportunities
• Work with imprints to develop A+ detail pages and audit detail pages for any issues or errors
• Coordinate with customer service and the warehouse to ensure orders ship in a timely manner and minimize operational chargebacks
• Coordinate Amazon-specific marketing campaigns with respective marketing departments and handle all billing/reporting for the campaigns
• Manage enrollment of print-on-demand titles
• Troubleshoot all Amazon-related issues that arise
• Occasional travel is required

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a publishing sales role
• College degree or work equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and proactively solve problems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
