Title: PUBLISHING ASSISTANT
Description: We’re seeking enthusiastic candidates who wish to contribute to an energized publishing team. To get yourself in the door you’ll need strong communication skills and plenty of personality. To put frosting on the cake you should also know social media like nobody’s business (and aren’t afraid to mix metaphors and play with puns).

This is a soup-to-nuts position: Organize promotions, create promo images, write social media posts, proofread, file, special projects, coordinate with authors, pre-production formatting, and proofreading (did we mention proofreading?). And everything on deadline.
Requirements: Detail-oriented. Creative. Flexible. Adaptive. Organized. Collaborative. Excellent speller, proofreader, and office know-it-all.

ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE (a major plus)
MailChimp, InDesign, PhotoShop, Canva

HOURS
Approximately 30 hours per week, Monday–Thursday (closed on Fridays).

Location: Must work in our Plano office (remote applicants will not be considered). We’re in the new Legacy West area and we take advantage of all the wonderful patios at will.
