Title: Part Time Literary Agency Assistant
Description: PROSPECT AGENCY seeks part-time assistant

I am looking for a part time assistant (about 15 to 20 hours per week) to help me run my busy literary agency. I am the president of the agency and am responsible for taking care of my clients as well as help the other five agents with their clients. I am looking for an assistant to help me with the following:

- Keeping the office organized and running smoothly
- Sorting and logging mail
- Helping manage submissions
- Maintain social media presence
- Communicate with authors and agents about daily needs

As a bonus, since I work from home my three children are often around and ideally I’d love to work with someone who would like to earn extra money watching my kids on occasion. I often having meetings in the city and I’d love the same person who assists at the office to also help with childcare. My current assistant works with me this way and it’s a great arrangement for the right person.

Just a note about me, I represent a lot of romance and women’s fiction so love of that genre is a plus! Our agency also represents everything from picture books to non-fiction YA. It’s a fun place to work!
Requirements: - 4 year college degree, or evidence of expected competition
- Ability to multitask and prioritize many duties at once
- Organized
- Proficiency in Google Apps (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Ability to drive a plus, but not required
- Flexibility with schedule
