| Description: | Algonquin Young Readers, an imprint of Algonquin Books, seeks an intern to work virtually with our dedicated team based in the New York, NY area. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to assist with a variety of projects. We are looking for an intern who will be able to start as soon as possible and who can commit to 20 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months.
Responsibilities include: • Coordinating mailings to accounts • Ordering promotional materials • Maintaining schedules • Maintaining social media channels • General administrative and organizational tasks Qualifications: • Ideal candidates will be organized and detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously • Experience with Excel and WordPress • Strong writing skills • Administrative experience a plus About Algonquin Young Readers: Algonquin Young Readers publishes books for readers seven to seventeen.
