Company Name: FABLED FILMS PRESS
Description: Fabled Films Press is looking for a part-time marketing and social media intern to work with our dynamic team.

Interns will work closely with the in-house marketing team to execute marketing plans for two children’s brands: The Nocturnals, an animal adventure series with middle grade and early reader titles by Tracey Hecht; and Pippa Park, an #OwnVoices reimagining of Great Expectations for tweens by Erin Yun. Both properties include books, educational materials, printable activities, virtual programs, and more. Interns will be expected to draw up and track social media campaigns optimized for multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter); track media hits; generate marketing materials (social posts, blog posts, flyers); write pitch letters; research and update database marketing contacts for booksellers, librarians, teachers, bloggers and the media on MailChimp; assist in the distribution of sales materials and assist the marketing team with other day-to-day tasks and organizational needs.

Ideal candidates should be familiar with various social media platforms (including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Goodreads, Hootsuite, Linktree). Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Suite and a basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop/InDesign required.

The internship runs from May through September 2021. Flexible start and finish dates depending on school schedule.
Length of Internship: Summer 2021
Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and a basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop/InDesign. Excellent writing and communication skills; strong attention to detail; ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects; self-starter; strong research skills; familiarity with social media platforms. Previous experience with publishing and content marketing is appreciated, but not required. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in children's books, films, and toys.
