This internship will provide excellent experience in many different sides of the publishing industry, including editorial, foreign rights, filmed media, and contracts.

Depending on placement, projects may include reading and reporting on manuscripts, assisting with editorial submissions, writing coverage of screenplays and manuscripts being considered for film adaptation, managing databases of royalty statements and contracts, drafting posts for Foundry’s social media platforms, and researching new book ideas and potential authors, among others.

Administrative duties will be kept to a minimum, but may include working the front desk and organizing mailings.
