Description: We are currently offering summer internships to ambitious and well-organized college students and graduates interested in learning the ins-and-outs of a vibrant literary agency. Interns will prepare detailed reader reports, assist with client projects when appropriate, and evaluate unsolicited submissions. Additional duties will include administrative work such as filing and answering phones.

Intern Responsibilities:

Educational Component: 65%
- Reading manuscripts and preparing reader’s reports for agents, and receiving constructive feedback
- Reviewing submissions
- Assisting agents on other client projects
- Reading Publishers Weekly and the New York Times Book Review, and other industry news

Administrative/Clerical Work: 35%
- Answering phones, filing, scanning and copying
- Assisting the Director of Operations as needed
