Description: Sterling Publishing Co., Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Barnes & Noble, is looking for interns for their New York City office in the following areas:

Art/Design
Editorial
Managing Editorial
Marketing
Sales

In addition to working with our creative and talented staff, our internships provide a well-rounded experience educating interns on all facets of the book publishing world. You will sit in on Lunch & Learns, have face to face time with our Executive Vice President, a mentor to guide you, resume workshops, as well as receive tools and tips on finding that dream job!

We are seeking creative, innovative, risk takers who aren’t afraid to think “outside the box” and make an impact within the department as well as the organization. We require our interns to bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow. All of our interns must have a strong interest in book publishing!

Length of Internship: January 21 - May 3
Requirements: Internship details:

• Internship begins January 21st and ends May 4th
• Internships are for course credits only
• Commitment of at least 14 hours per week
Location: New York, NY
Payment: Travel Reimbursement
