Program Name: Oxford Brookes University

Description: This course aims to give students an excellent overview of every aspect of publishing along with specific skills for successful employment in the publishing industry. It combines relevant theory with practice and, by equipping students with appropriate knowledge and skills, enhances students' employment prospects in publishing and related work. Recent students who have successfully completed publishing courses at Oxford Brookes have been exceptionally successful in obtaining employment quickly and have a good record of career progression.

Students leave the course with a broad understanding of the key issues facing the publishing industry in the 21st century and a range of skills, including advanced IT skills, to help them succeed in the industry.

Requirements / Eligibility: A good honors degree in any subject or extensive industry experience is required. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a commitment to work in the publishing or communications industries. Places are keenly sought and early application is advised.
