Title: Educational Sales Consultant
Description: Rosen is a long-established educational publishing company with offices in the general Buffalo area. Our classroom resources include both print and sophisticated digital product. We currently have openings for individuals to present and sell our newest foundational literacy platform LevelUp. LevelUp is a new state-of-the art adaptive learning platform that sets the standard for basic reading skill development for children in grades PK-2. Adaptive learning platforms are being adopted by schools all over the US as core instructional tools responsive to the demands of today’s modern digital environment.

You’ll be a good fit for this Educational Sales role if you are skilled at consultative sales, highly motivated, and prepared to build this business. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success selling ed tech instructional products, possesses knowledge of the K-12 market, works well in a fast-paced environment, has a high energy level, and is driven to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expertise on the product
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and follow up leads
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline and forecasts
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Schedule and deliver webinar based (via Zoom webinar platform) presentations of LevelUp to district and building level educators requesting demonstrations.
• Deliver twice week scheduled LevelUp webinars to all comers.
• Provide product set up support to customers purchasing subscription access for their students (Professional Development).
• Set up and monitor customer trials/pilots of LevelUp through to their conclusion.
• Convert customer presentations and trials to subscription-based purchases of LevelUp
• Maintain accurate records in Zoho CRM software.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Training and Resources

• Rosen provides complete training program in LevelUp along with a variety of customer facing support materials as well as access to professional development support personnel to assist in both presentation, trial monitoring, and subscription installation.


• Compensation is a combination of salary and incentives based on school adoption of LevelUp platform. Base reflects prior experience and proven ability.
• Full-time, in-office, position with benefits.

Requirements: Skills, Ability, and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Prior customer support and sales experience.
• Prior experience with Zoom or equivalent webinar platform a plus.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Understanding of the educational environment.
• Prior experience in educational technology and/or teaching (particular in ELA, reading skill development), a strong plus.
• Confidence in making oral presentations to large and small groups and ability to develop rapport with potential users of LevelUp.
• Strong motivation to work in a self-supervised environment achieving daily and weekly goals.
