Title: Marketing Assistant - HC Espanol, Amistad...
Description: The HarperOne Group seeks a Marketing Assistant for HC Español, HarperVia, and Amistad. In this role, you will report into the Associate Publisher and provide general administrative support to the Marketing team, as well as interface with Sales, Publicity, and enact Digital and Social marketing campaigns. Candidate must be passionate about publishing diverse authors, be organized, creative, and interested in using social media to celebrate books.

- Overall administrative support for the Marketing team (setting meetings, organizing projects, coordinating mailings, and general support).
- Daily project assistance across title campaigns (writing copy, coordinating social media campaigns, and organizing promotions).
- Copywriting and content development for title campaigns (social media content, advertising, and more).
- Coordinate sell-in tools, sell sheets, order forms, catalog information and departmental mailings.
- Create seasonal tracking grids, and update marketing plans across all internal systems as campaigns evolve.
- Assist with research and organization of cross promotional efforts; also support execution of cross-promotional and advertising efforts.
- Work with the Marketing team on social media and online marketing programs.
- Create presentations for key meetings throughout the year.
- Work closely with the Associate Publisher to brainstorm new marketing initiatives and ideas across all platforms, Print, Digital, and Audio.
Requirements: Qualifications:
- Must possess college degree or equivalent work experience
- The ideal candidate should be a quick learner who wants a career in the book - publishing industry and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills
- Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task with all administrative duties
- The ability to work both independently, as well as with a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, social media platforms
- Must love books!
