Title: PT Administrative Assistant Book Publishing/Market
Description: We are looking for an organized, reliable, and self-motivated person interested in working as an administrative and personal assistant in the book publishing and marketing industry PART TIME 15-20 hours per week to start in a casual work environment on Whidbey Island in Washington State. Must be available weekday hours in the office. Some work can be done at home. Teaching and conference opportunities are available. Candidate must reside on Whidbey Island.

* Varied administrative office work
• Occasional driving locally to Post Office, Bookkeeper, etc.
• Reading, writing, and proofreading manuscripts and materials
• Organize and prioritize files, job lists, banking, etc.
• Conference, teaching, and speaking scheduling
• Researching book blogs, book store, libraries, and Amazon reviewers.
• Assisting with marketing projects for clients and putting forth ideas for execution and expansion.
• 2Market Books also offers a Marketing Makeover written service, in which assistant will learn to write a
detailed analysis of the client’s author platform based on notes given to them and a full marketing plan.

Requirements: • Strong organizational skills—detail oriented
• Able to meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Interest in book publishing
• Strong computer skills and social media savvy
• Good communication, writing, and people skills
• Positive attitude and reliability
• Have transportation and valid drivers license
