Title: Customer Service Representative
Description: Workman Publishing Co. is seeking a highly motivated, positive individual with a service-orientated personality to join our Customer Service team.

Responsibilities:
• Answer phones and reply to emails in a timely manner to ensure excellent customer service is always being provided
• Learn company product and policies in order to research customer claims including shortage, discount, shipping issues, etc.
• Assist customers with phone orders, as well as code and enter orders
• Track orders, request proof of deliveries, file shipping claims
• On occasion, help to open or close the office and cover the reception area (answer a multi-line phone, transfer calls, greet guests, and schedule messenger pickups)
• On occasion, assist in the mailroom

Qualifications
• Ideal candidate must have office experience; customer service experience is preferred but not required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and handle multi-line phones
• Must be available Monday-Friday 8:30am-6:00 pm (most days are 9:00am-5:00pm)

This is a full-time job with benefits including medical, paid time off, and 401k.
