Internship Detail

Description: This entry-level marketing position will support marketing managers in multiple publications series. Will serve as central information source for authors and other colleagues, write and produce marketing materials, coordinate online marketing campaigns and webinar, work with authors, marketing managers and editors on designing marketing campaigns, manage scheduling and materials for conferences, trade shows and events and perform a variety of administrative and clerical marketing support activities. This position is targeted at those who want to begin a career in marketing and publishing. This position also includes the opportunity to work with senior staff on projects such as market research, author support, marketing plan preparation, and promotional efforts.

Requirements: Qualifications: Requirements: This position requires the ability to coordinate multiple tasks on a variety of projects with a high degree of organizational skill and excellent detail orientation. Author and inter-departmental contact requires good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. College education preferred, with office experience a plus. Word processing and spreadsheet skills are highly desirable.

Payment: We would like applicants who can work from 25-30 hours a week. These are unpaid internships. But if you are eligible to receive credit from your college or university, we can work that out.
