Description: Boutique literary agency Aevitas Creative Management (formerly Kuhn Projects and Zachary Shuster Harmsworth) is seeking interns to work in its office in New York’s Flatiron District during the Winter/Spring 2018 semester. Candidates should be available to start in early February and able to commit to at least two days per week through mid-May.

This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in careers in publishing. Aevitas Creative Management is a new venture formed by two of the industry’s most dynamic and editorially driven agencies, and interns will receive a full picture of its inner workings. Regular duties will include:

- Reading manuscript submissions and providing editorial feedback on proposals

- Conducting market research via social media and news outlets; brainstorming book ideas and potential clients to pursue

- Routing and filing contracts, royalty statements, and author-related documents

- Other miscellaneous tasks

Ideal applicants will be perceptive readers, comfortable meeting deadlines and managing projects both collaborative and solo. Interns will work with agents whose tastes and lists vary widely; for more information, visit our website at
