|Description:||W. W. Norton, the largest and oldest publishing house owned wholly by its employees, is seeking a summer editorial intern to assist the Political Science and Philosophy teams. The internship will offer insight into the editorial, marketing, and sales aspects of textbook publishing. Responsibilities vary but will include assisting with preparation of manuscripts and ancillary materials, creating and editing Excel and Word documents to support projects, and compiling research on book sales and competition.|
|Length of Internship:||3 Months, 20 Hours Per Week|
|Requirements:||The ideal candidate is organized and detail oriented, possesses strong research and communication skills, and is comfortable working independently in an office environment. Specific hours are flexible, but interns must be available to work 3-4 days for a total of 20 hours per week over a three-month period. College juniors and seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates preferred.
