|Description:||Globe Pequot, the country’s leading regional and enthusiast publisher is seeking a savvy and creative intern to work with our marketing team in Guilford, Connecticut, on the CT shorelilne. This is an exciting opportunity to see innovative marketing programs and media outreach strategies in action, and to provide support for successful initiatives that move the needle on sales.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Digital savvy, both with social media and office productivity tools like MS Office suite
-A passion for creating great content
-Flexibility and desire to try new things
Students accepted will train and learn all operations of the department, including traditional media and social media outreach, marketing, brand partnership development and more.

|Length of Internship:||January to May 2017|
|Requirements:||Academic credit from an accredited institution of higher education must be available to all who apply for this unpaid opportunity. Student in all majors will be considered, but English, Communications, and Marketing students will be given preference. This internship offers a flexible schedule, but candidates must know their schedule (academic and otherwise) for the requisite semester when applying.
