Description: The trade marketing department at W. W. Norton & Company seeks bright, detail-oriented, and reliable candidates who enjoy reading, write well, and, above all, want to learn about book publishing and marketing, to participate in our Fall 2016 internship program, which will run from September through December.
Length of Internship: 3 months, 20 hours
Requirements: An internship in the trade marketing department involves playing a supporting role in social media outreach, performing website maintenance and market research, and assisting with mailings and other clerical duties. In general, the intern’s job is to assist the department as they market Norton’s diverse trade list, which includes works of history, science, economics, technology, memoir, literary fiction, poetry, and more; interns will learn the ins and outs of book marketing today.
Location: New York, NY
