Description: | Norton’s college department is currently seeking an intern to assist with the development and production of political science and cultural anthropology textbooks. Tasks will vary from day to day, but may include: assisting with manuscript preparation, creating and maintaining tracking documents for marketing and editorial purposes, performing market research, and helping with assorted mailing and other administrative tasks. |
Length of Internship: | 3 months, 20 hours per week |
Requirements: | Ideal candidates will possess excellent attention to detail and organization, excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to work independently and efficiently in an office environment, and an interest in learning more about college textbook publishing. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is highly preferred. A background in political science or anthropology is preferred, but not required. Specific work hours are flexible, but applicants must be willing to commit to 20 hours per week for a three-month period. |
