Description: The Biology & Chemistry Emedia team is seeking a highly motivated spring 2016 intern to assist the emedia assistant editor with editorial and production tasks in developing, managing, and producing forthcoming ancillaries.

The intern will work with the emedia team in editing and producing instructor and student resource materials. Responsibilities will include creating asset maps, working with online material and formatting test questions, and assisting with all stages of the publishing process. The intern will also have the opportunity to work with the print Biology and Chemistry teams on various book-related projects.
Length of Internship: 3 months, 20 hours per week
Requirements: The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, digitally savvy, organized and focused, willing to learn new programs and skills on the job, and, most importantly, excited about the great potential for the media side of textbook publishing. Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office is required.

The internship is 3 or 4 days a week for three months. The specific work hours are flexible, but interns must be available to work 20 hours per week. Juniors, seniors, and recent graduates preferred.
Location: New York, NY
Payment: $9/hour
