Company Name: W. W. NORTON & COMPANY
Description: The college division at W.W. Norton is seeking an editorial intern in the psychology department. This internship will offer education and experience in the editorial, marketing and production aspects of textbook publishing. Responsibilities will vary but will include assisting with the preparation of ancillary materials, organizing test content, testing interactive education programs, data entry and management, and other office tasks.
Length of Internship: September - December
Requirements: All applicants should be interested in academic publishing; an interest or background in psychology is encouraged but not required. Candidates should have strong research and writing skills, be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently. A proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs is required. This internship will begin in the fall for a three-month commitment. Specific work hours are flexible; interns typically work 20 hours per week, usually split around three days. College juniors, seniors and recent graduates preferred.
Location: New York, NY
Payment: $8.75/hour
