| Description: | We offer internships designed to provide an understanding of the role an agent plays, with the aim of preparing interns for their first entry-level position at another agency or publishing house. We attempt to develop strong administrative skills, improve reading and editing for publication, provide general knowledge of the industry, the publishing process, contract terms and negotiation, subrights, and other core aspects of the business. Internships generally run for the length of a semester and require 2-3 days per week. We particularly encourage local college or graduate students to apply, and can tailor the internship to meet your requirements for academic credit.
